Walking Women
Do you love walking but don't like to venture too far alone? Would you like to be sociable while enjoying the spectacular beach at Wells-next-the-Sea? If so, come and join Holkham’s monthly walks. Meet at the Beach Café, normal parking charges apply. Each walk will last approximately 1.5 hours. Well behaved and sociable dogs on leads are welcome on the walk.

Sunday 15th November - 3pm
Chamber Music Concert - Doric String Quartet and pre-concert talk
3pm - Together with the Doric String Quartet, Simon Rowland-Jones will introduce his most recent string quartet, a musical take on Caravaggio's celebrated altar painting ‘The Beheading of St John the Baptist’, as well as Bartók’s powerful and expressionistic 4th String Quartet.
4.30pm - Chamber Music Concert - Doric String Quartet
Programme: Bartók: String Quartet No.4, Rowland-Jones: String Quartet No.5 ‘The Beheading of St. John the Baptist’, Beethoven: String Quartet in A minor Op.132
Tickets: £25 – Includes the 45 minute pre-concert talk followed by tea/coffee served in the Saloon. The afternoon continues with the Doric String Quartet and includes a glass of wine served in the Saloon during the concert interval. Tickets available by telephone and online.
